LSC Regional – Young Adjudicator Initiative
Youth Adjudicators
London and Southern Counties Regional Contest 2019, Stevenage, March 17th, 2019
There are still a few places left for 11-18-year olds interested in joining the Young Adjudicators scheme being held at the forthcoming L&SC Regional Contest. This is designed to be a fun day for young musicians who are interested in finding out more about the process of adjudication.
Youngsters will be
- provided with a score of the 2nd section
- meet with the official adjudicators backstage before the start of the section
- be mentored by David Ashworth, executive member of AoBBA
- receive a complimentary ticket to the contest for their accompanying adult
- gain an understanding of how to read a score
- experience what it is like to be “in the box”
